What is a lash refill?

A lash refill is the maintenance needed to keep the extensions looking great. We remove the extensions that are too far on the natural eyelash and we put new ones.
It is important to come to appointments with clean eyelashes and with 50% of the extensions remaining.

Is it possible to have a reaction to extensions?

Although it is very rare, it is impossible to guarantee that you will not have reactions but with the products and techniques that I use, reactions are very rare.

I am losing a lot of eyelashes these days, is this normal?

It is normal to notice the loss of eyelashes more when you have extensions since a natural eyelash is much more subtle than an eyelash with an extension. Generally, we lose 1-7 natural eyelashes per day. The natural cycle of our eyelashes lasts approximately 2-4 months. It is therefore normal to notice a greater loss of eyelashes at these times. Previously it was associated with the changes of seasons but the reality is that each individual has it's own cycle and does not depend on the seasons.

Is it true that you should take a break from extensions once in a while?

If the extensions are well done and well maintained at home, there is no reason to require a break.

Am I a good candidate for semi-permanent makeup?

Contraindications for semi-permanent makeup:

- 18 years old
pregnant or breastfeeding
have keloid scars
epilepsy
eczema, psoriasis in the area
sunburn
botox - 30 days before and 30 days after
anticoagulant medication
heart problems
autoimmune disease
accutane, retin-A, cortisone, steroids
chemotherapy
diabetes
HIV, Hepatitis, Dermatitis, Hemophilia

What is the aftercare after semi-permanent makeup?

For the next 3 days :

gently clean every 2-3 hours
apply gel every 2-3 hours

For the first week :

continue applying gel multiple times a day
no makeup
no water
no sweating and working out
don't pick at the scabs

For 1 month :

no botox or fillers near
no sun
always apply sunscreen if you do have to be in the sun
no laser or peeling
no facial

The color can lighten up to 30 - 50%. It is very important to trust the healing process and to come back 6 to 10 weeks later for the touch up.

What are the payment methods?

Accepted payment methods are debit card or cash, no interact transfer or credit card.

Policies

Having all these policies may seem intense but it is simply out of respect for me, my work and my other clients. They are in place to avoid abuse or misunderstandings. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to write to me.

Arrive at the time of the appointment or 5 minutes in advance maximum. If you are in advance text me before ringing so that I give you the OK.

Delays of more than 10 min will not be accepted.

Send inspo photos before your appointment.

I request 48 hours notice to cancel or move the appointment, otherwise a fee of 50% of the appointment will be charged.

The "no call no show" cannot book another appointment.

After 2 last minute cancellations, I will no longer take you as a client.

A credit card is required to make an appointment. This card will not be charged unless you don't show up for your appointment. I do not have access to your informations, it is well protected.

No coffee/energy drink before the appointment, your eyes move too much.

No accompanying person. No children or babies, my room is not made to accommodate other people.

Payment methods are by debit card or cash. NO interac transfer/CREDIT card will be accepted. Make sure you have the payment method with you.

I no longer accept any refills from another technician unless I have photos where I can see the quality of your lashes.

Arrive at the appointment with clean lashes. No makeup, concealer, mascara, etc. Dirty lashes = more cleaning time = less time filling your lashes = not full refill = poorer retention.

I reserve the right to no longer take you on as a client if you do not follow After Care's instructions. (Cleaning, products to avoid, etc.)

You still need to have 40-50% of your remaining extensions left for it to be considered a fill. Otherwise, charges may apply.

You always receive a text message 48 hours before your appointment, it is important to confirm your presence. A reminder 2 hours before your appointment is sent, no action is necessary.

If you wear contact lenses, do not put them on before coming to the appointment.

Put your cell phone in standby mode so as not to be disturbed during the appointment.

Reduce movement and discussions as much as possible during appointments so as not to slow down the process.

Let me know if there's a style of music you like/don't like, but you can always bring your headphones.
